Terenure Synagogue Visit

As part of their current program cycle, our Beavers are learning about festivals and the cultures, religions and traditions that surround them. As part of this, the Beavers will be making a special visit to the Synagogue in Terenure where they will learn about Judaism and the local Irish Jewish community.


All Beavers are welcome to attend. Beavers should wear their full uniform. They will be walking to the Synagogue from the Den so they will need their coats and waterproofs (depending on the weather).


Venue: Meet at the Den, walk to the synagogue on Rathfarnham Road

Price: €2 per Beaver (to cover the Special Interest Badge they will earn)

Arrival Date/Time: 3.20pm 3rd March, leaving Den 3.30pm sharp 3.55pm at bus shelter outside Synagogue

Collection Date/Time: 5.30pm 3rd March at the Den 5pm at bus shelter outside Synagogue

Travel Arrangements: Beaver Scouts should be dropped and collected from the Den

Confirmation of Attendance: Please confirm attendance on the parent's WhatsApp so we have an idea of numbers. Money can be paid on the day.

Equipment Required:

Beaver Uniform (Jumper, Necker, Woggle, dark trousers and runners)
