With the relaxation of Covid rules and new guidelines from Scouting Ireland, we are now in a position to plan a summer camp for 2021! Our plan is to take the Beavers to Larch Hill on 12th/13th June. Details for the trip will follow in the coming weeks.
We will have to make some changes to our camp setup to take into account social distancing and reduce Covid risks as much as possible. With this in mind we need to confirm numbers for the camp ASAP. This will also allow us to work out final costs.
We understand it may be difficult for some Beaver Scouts, especially our new Beavers, to stay away from home for the night. To help them overcome any worries they might have, we will involve all of the Beavers in the planning and preparation of the trip in the coming weeks.
