Yesterday the Beavers reached the end of their current programme cycle where they learned about festivals including Chinese New Year, Valentine's Day, Purim, Passover and Pancake Tuesday. They also had an adventure visiting the local Synagogue in Terenure.
As the culmination of all of this fun and learning, the Beavers held their own 'Beaverfest'. Many of the Beavers have been working on their special interest badges and they had a chance to present (and eat!) these on the night. We had lots of baking, a complete comic book, a beautiful song, a custom built vegetable patch and even a grapefruit powered clock!
The Beavers were super well behaved and each of them gave a little presentation on what work they had done for their badge and how it had challenged them.
