This weekend, our 37th Beavers will be joining Beavers from across Mountpelier Scout County for a day of map reading, orienteering and games in Corkagh Park.
The Beavers were given a choice of routes to pick from and they have chosen the longest one: a 3km orienteering route. They can download the map here if they'd like to look at it in advance of the event.
This event is open to all 7.30 Beavers. Beavers who attend will have the chance to earn a trail blazers badge so we need to confirm numbers in advance to ensure we have enough badges.
The Beavers will be outdoors with no shelter and this time of year the weather is unpredicable so they need to be well prepared. Waterproof boots, jackets and trousers are mandatory.
