The Spooky Trail is a Halloween-themed event for all Beaver Scouts taking place in Larch Hill Scout Centre on Saturday 20th October 2018. It promises to be a day of trick-or-treats for all involved!
Colonies will follow a map which will tell them the order and locations of the activities they will partake in. Pumpkin patches, haunted houses and witches’ lairs will all feature on the trail. Watch out for Frankenstein, and be careful not to cross the path of the black cat…
All Beaver Scouts will go home with a souvenir for completing the trail!
Beaver Scouts will be required to arrive to Larch Hill in spooky fancy dress- the scarier the better! There is a special prize for the best dressed group! Even though it is fancy dress, Beaver Scouts should be prepared and warm enough to complete activities outdoors.
Good walking shoes are essential as there will be substantial walking involved on the day.

Travel Arrangements: Beaver Scouts should be dropped and collected from Larch Hill. We request that Beaver Scouts being dropped to Larch Hill by parents use carpooling, both for environmental reasons and to ease congestion at drop-off and collection times.

Confirmation of Attendance: Beavers must confirm attendance for Spooky Trail no later than Tuesday 5th of October. To confirm your Beaver’s attendance please put the €10 (cash only) in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the Beaver Scout’s Name and give it to one of the Scouters in the Section.
Consent forms MUST have been submitted in order for your Beaver to attend.
