Hi Guys,
Many of you are famar with our scouters and the great work they do with the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Ventures.
But many are also involved in other good works in our area and beyond.
Last summer some of our scouts were involved in tidying up Templeogue Village. They planted the flowers in those planters that most of us take for granted.
Some are involved in other efforts through School or College. Raising money for a myriad of good causes.
Claire is currently running a campaign with Generation Change.
Generation Change is a Fundraising and Networking Initiative for Ireland’s undergrads created by The SCOOP Foundation. Bringing together Ireland’s uni students and industry professionals, Generation Change raises funds to support SCOOP Ed whilst providing participants with invaluable benefits!
SCOOP Ed provides young Internally Displaced People (IDP’s) living in the Bajed Kandala Camp in Iraq and refugees in Direct Provision in Ireland with educational programmes focused around Art, IT, Design, Music, STEM subjects, basic English and mindfulness.
